We are fine. Thanks for the concern. Better times are ahead. Meanwhile, it seems that more and more of LM.com members support Cathouse. Two new customers today. Three this week alone. The power/support of this site is more than you can imagine. Yall are driving longer distances to come here. As of now, because of you all, I have opening for part time person. Your support is appreciated more than you know.!!! We WILL see yall at the Lake this weekend. Steve and Dee Dee.

What i was refering to was Chevie dealerships were being droped by GM
|
I was not screaming at you. I was screaming at the government. Any dealership that is effected effects the community around it. The government is making every effort to shut down capitalism and make ALL dependent on the government. Atlas Shrugged, but it's not a book. It's real life. Cat glad to hear you are maintaining and winning the uphill battle.

Fortunatly, the Chevrolet Dealership I represent here in Wetumpka has sound business practices, is well capitalized, carries a very high CSI and maintains sales effective/registrations to GM standards. (definatly not saying any others don't) We really were not that worried about termination. I am surprised at a few that were terminated. I have heard many franchised dealers comment that they would just go in the used car business. While this may be a viable option for those terminated, I don't think used car/vehicle business will just simply continue as usual at a given facility. Some, maybe even most used car sales at a franchised dealer are a result of a certain confidence factor that comes from buying from a new car dealer. I believe the public holds a new car dealer to a slightly higher standard. These are just my opinions. These closings/terminations do effect alot of people, more so in small comunities that lose a dealership. Some that were terminated were secondand third generation companies! That is very sad.
