Unfortunately, the positive things he accomplished will forever be overshadowed by his betrayal of our Constitution. He took an oath to uphold it not to encourage an insurrection.
The truth always wins out...just ask Trump...18 hours and a disgraced Donald Trump will be gone.
Two prominent supporters of Trump agree with me that Trump encouraged the deadly mob. Do you agree?
Mitch O'Connell said....
The typically tight-lipped Senate Republican leader rarely broke from Trump in his four years as president. But he led the Senate's certification of the presidential election that the rioters pledged to overturn, and has strongly condemned the violence at the Capitol he has served in as a senator for 36 years.
"The mob was fed lies," McConnell, a Kentucky Republican, said on the Senate floor. "They were provoked by the President and other powerful people."
Bill Barr said....
"“Orchestrating a mob to pressure Congress is inexcusable. The President’s conduct yesterday was a betrayal of his office and supporters,” Barr said in a statement to the Associated Press."

Fortunately, a video you won't see on MSNBC shows another side to the Capitol protest. A MAGA supporter pleading with the capitol police force to call in reinforcements while they (the "police") stand trancelike, no action, no urgency, as if they are on a smoke break. This patriot saw the potential for violence as his words were to some effect "you don't understand, these people want blood". This was our Capitol and the Capitol Police force are in a stand down posture?? Who might have given those orders? There is plenty of blame to go around for last Wednesday, but according to Fish and Archie, Barr and McConnell, it was Trump's fault. Y'all are just too blind to see.....

What do you think would have happened if he never suggested they march on the Capitol. Or, if he never said he was marching with them? Or, if he said he disagreed with Brooks about "take names and kick ass"? Or, if said No Rudy we don't want to do violence? Or, if he said stand down as we are the party of law and order? Or, if he told the crowd we don't want to attack any police. No, he just got them all riled up and they moved on towards insurrection. I am surprised at your defense of the indefensible.

There is video of a group of them hiding in the trees changing from their black block into red, white and blue clothing. It was a setup, false flag operation by the dims to finish Trump off. It worked, i'm sure you are proud.

Their influence is obviously too powerful for us to defeat!

I guess my qustion for CRD is why was such a ''patriot'' in that crowd breaking and entering into the Capitol was in that bunch in the first place.
It is somewhat analogous to the the ''good people'' marching with the white supremist / neo-nazi crowd in Charlottesville. If you are in a crowd where the person too one side is wearing a swaztika arm-band and the guy on the other side is shouting ''Jews will not replace us'' and you do not immediately leave that crowd, you are not a good person!
Being CRD, no answer expected.

Ahh, yes, it was the peaceful protester's issue, right Archie? Talk about deflection. Par for the course with you and your generation. Regarding Fish's questions, those who were protesting an illegitimate election process were there on their own volition. They were there prior to Trump'speech and had plans that were going forth no matter what Trump or others had to say. Much like how the peaceful protesters in Kenosha, Minneapolis, Seattle, Portland who set businesses on fire, vandalized, looted, took over city blocks, reacted to their leaders telling them to stand down. Oh yeah, I forgot, the leaders of your party never told them to disperse, quit ruining local businesses, quit looting, Those on the right there, like many of us who weren't there, had enough of the left's sh.....tt and were not going to be told what to do. What was good for the goose was good for the gander.
The problem Archie and Fish, is that the images of Portland, Seattle, Atlanta, Kenosha, Minneapolis no matter how the MSM wants to whitewash them, are ingrained into the fabric of your pathetic party as well as the minds of 70 million law abiding Americans who love this country, democracy and free speech and who voted willingly for Trump.

I was not "deflecting" but specifically addressing the subject you raised. Too bad you apparently have too much of a bias warped mind to recognize it.
Bottom line...Anybody who hangs around in a crowd that veers into burning, looting or violence is at minimum abetting criminal activity. When the crowed is one which has forcefully occupied the very "Citidel of American democracy" it raises the stakes to a new level!!!
Now here is another question you can ignore. Do you believe the other 81.4 million Americans who voted for Biden, are less law abiding or love America and Free speech any less than the Americans who voted otherwise? If you think the answer is yes you are a big part of the problem not the solution!

So ironic that in today's Washington Post, a newspaper that you and Archie quote frequently, is an article that stated that the timeline of the the Capitol events last week did not coincide with the media's reporting of events. The rioters were already there before Trump spoke. It also stated that Trump was indeed, not responsible for the event, he demanded non violence, the event was planned by extremist militias (some in Virginia) 3 days prior to the event. This all from the lib rag WP. The impeachment sham is a stain, among many, on your party on an outgoing President. The sooner Trump gets busy with the new Patriot Party the better. 73 million of us are waiting to rid ourselves of the GOPe and get back to the business of MAGA. Hidey and Ho, in my opinion, are not talented enough to achieve what needs to be accomplished during their term. Enjoy your Zoom inauguration parties. There were more people lining the streets of Palm Beach welcoming Trump home than were at the inauguration. He will be in your rear view mirror for a very long time.

Do I believe that Trump broke records for votes received by an incumbent president? 74 Mil Yes.
Do I believe that cognitively challenged Biden received 13 million more votes than your saviour Obama while never leaving his basement and essentially not having ANY campaign? No
Do I believe that he also garnered 17 million more votes than HRC? No again
Go into the office and stew on some girders, trusses etc. For you to believe the above requires quite a stretch of your reasoning capacity.

If Biden supporters, such as the 550 members of the writing and publishing community who are asking publishing houses to refuse book deals by members of the Trump administration and who also said this:
"Consequently, we believe: No participant in an administration that caged children, performed involuntary surgeries on captive women, and scoffed at science as millions were infected with a deadly virus should be enriched by the almost rote largesse of a big book deal."
are representative of the whole, and who reveal their love for America by advocating for the limitation of free speech in such an outlandish form, and Biden Big Tech continues to censor Trump voters on FB and Twitter then I am gladly the problem.
And talk about scoffing at science, you won't even read the science that I spoon feed you.

One other quick point ol Archie, the ones that gained entrance into the citadel of democracy were UNARMED. Can we say that about those in Kenosha? Those in Minneapolis? Those in Portland and Seattle? How about Atlanta? Can you say with a straight face that the armed rioting in those cities where homocides and attacks on police occurred , businesses burned and destroyed, where calls for police defunding overpowered calls for calm, were somehow less serious than a guy with a buffalo headress wandering through Statuary Hall?
I surmise that you will label this a gotcha question and not answer as usual.

Not a gotcha question at all. Hundreds of those who were armed during the summer protests were arrested as they should have been. The simple act of bringing even a legal firearm to a volitile situation should be illegal IMHO! That should apply even, as was the fact in the majority of cases, to peaceful legal carry BLM thugs. The white protesters who entered the MI capitol were not arrested, the same goes for those who entered th GA capitol demanding to be led to the Secretary of State. Same again for the thousands of armed mostly white pro-Trump protestors who were outside the capitol on Jan 6. Then there is of course Charlottesville...how many gun toters were arrested there simply because they were toten? It seems you have a big problem with blacks with legal carry permits legally carrying but think whites doing the same are just being patriots.
You see CRD, I think it should be illegal for ANYBODY, white or black or brown or yellow or anything in between, to open carry or concealed carry in a protest crowd situation where violence is a reasonable possibility. Now you can and no doubt will whine ''2nd amendment'' all you want but I will side with common sense every time. That's the difference between the average center-left or center-center, or center-right sinsible citizens that make up the huge reasonable majority of this nation and the right wing purists like you. The 1st amendment guaranteeing freedom of speech does not include the freedom to shout ''fire'' in a crowded theatre so why should the 2nd amendment not have a similar reasonable exception?
Anybody notice CRD still has not answered any of my several questions.

Owning guns and thinking you should never be in any way restricted from carring them loaded anywhere anytime you want whether or not all those around you wants you to do so makes you a gun nut. You and most of the people on this forum are gun nuts. Guns have no more place at political rallies or protests than shouting ''fire'' in that crowded theater. Guns in volitile situations are not funny to most sane people but you laugh at it...where does that put you?

No such thing as plenty, depending on the situation.
If you have a weeks worth of food and all of a sudden transportation of groceries to your area due to a hurricane, natural disaster or something worse, at the end of that week you will be wondering where you can get more.
Right now most ammo on shelves have dried up, I know people who lost lots due to Covid, who are hunters and are are now begging reloaders to supply them some to keep food on their tables. They did not think about ammo flying off the shelves a year ago as people purchased due to Covid and Riots. I have some, but would never describe any I have as enough or plenty - and have shared with a few so that they can feed their families and tell them - make them count because we do not know how long this dry spell can last.

And oh, btw, how did you like where Biden kept his national guard troops while on breaks and when sleeping? In a parking garage? Really? No cots, just cement floor, breathing exhaust fumes. All while he signs EO's that weren't written by him and he barely could focus on. Good for Rep Cawthorn to take them pizza and to offer them his office to sleep. That is how you treat our dedicated men and women in the armed services. Over these next four years, if you are still around here, I predict that you will be pilloried with similar scenarios that you will have to defend day after day. You are correct. Let me restate it to I have enough to get started...lol. I am still thankful that I needed to pee when I went in Academy Sports a few weeks ago and happened up on a box of 500 .556 FMJ's. And they werent even price gouging. $199 for the box. I was shocked. I grabbed the last box of the shelf at 8:37am. He said he put out 36 boxes when they opened and I got the last one. Went fast. Had there been more I would have bought as many as they would let me.

Academy is one of the few retailers that hold their prices at normal levels when other stores love ripping off customers at every opportunity. Trick with Academy is to learn what days of each week they receive ammo inventory. I remember seeing lines outside Academy before they opened, so I stopped and asked why all these men were standing in the rain and cold, and the store wasn’t even open yet.....learned something important.....ask the clerk which days they get ammo inventory. Be there to get in line!

2/. Are you actually so blinded by bias to expect anybody to believe Trump wrote or read any of his executive orders? The man has never read anything more advanced than a Little Lulu comic book in his life.
3/. Please provide one single reliable and unbiased source that states Biden or Pelosi or any other political leader of either side that had anything to do with the guard being relegated to the garage. Does your free speech rights trump other peoples free speech rights? nope.
Just because you do not want to allow someone else to have free speach in your echo chamber does not mean they have to give up their rights to free speach not does it mean that you have a special right that when you are offended that others people lose their rights.
I do not understand why that is so hard to understand by liberals.

One does not beget the other. Because I believe in being able to protect myself, my family, and my property does not make me a gun nut. There are places where I honor a no-firearms request, others where, in spite of a "no firearms" policy, I carry anyway. It is all about threats and vulnerabilities.
Your claim that those of us on the forum who disagree with you are "gun nuts" has NO basis in fact because you don't know us. Have you ever met IN PERSON MM, Phil, Lifer, or any of the other forum members you so readily describe, with no real basis to make that judgement?
To summarize, I am a self-protection nut. That I choose firearms to enforce that does not make me a gun nut. For you to claim I and others on this forum are gun nuts without even a shred of evidence is just so much BS.
