Why are you so negative again? Trump pushed to increase the payment to $2,000 before his was defeated rather than the $600 that was sent out. Biden picked up on it and has  increased it to $2,000 total with the new $1,400 payment.Why were you so silent when Trump was pushing for $2,000?

All valid points Fish.  I am for relief assistance for those who meet strict criteria for need due to the pandemic.  I am against ANY pork in a COVID relief bill and I would challenge you to list the pork projects in this bill and defend them on this forum.  At least I could trust Trump to not raise my taxes in order to pay for the Congressional pork in his relief bills while keeping his eye on the Fed Rate and inflation.  Even though I have been blessed with the income stream to not qualify, I don't feel that I should be additionally penalized for repayment of such through higher personal and business taxes which, I am certain, will occur under Biden.

And remember your hero received less than 47% support overall.  The daily polls indicate that a lot of Trump voters, you not included of course, are willing to give Biden a chance.  His approval/disapproval numbers vary from 9% to 26% favorable, a place your hero never was.  I am pleased with the results so far.  2 million plus sticks a day, Covid numbers way down, economic outlook optimistic, markets up, people who actually know what they are doing running executive departments, back in WHO and Paris accords, our good name largely restored worldwide, and the stimulus packages reality without ANY GQP support in spite of the fact that the earlier 3 efforts totaling 4 trillion had majority Dem support and in spite of the support of 62 to 75% of the people. Best of all not one single sick Tweet! He!! yeah he's got my backing!!

Now, please enlighten me as to exactly what Biden has done that is so unacceptable and why.

COVID vaccinations proceeding well.  It's a shame Trump was given no credit for the miraculous pharm/gov't partnership that developed these vaccinnes (and received FDA approval) in record time.  Biden is simply riding on what Trump had set up and instituted. 

Markets were up, economic outlook was incredible, minority unemployment rates at record lows, GDP increased at rates not seen in the past 8 years under Trump, prior to COVID, but you were not impressed then, but are now.  Wonder why?

Running executive departments like the DHS, who are calling for volunteers to help assist with the border crisis?  When does Joe get out of bed?

The WHO and Paris accords are good for America?  Says who?

How is money going to AMTRAK categorized as COVID relief Archie?  As I challenged Fish, please list for us the pork in this bill and justify why it went there and not in the hands of citizens that need it most?

Can I name a Biden policy initiative that I have a problem with?  Sure, lets start with Immigration Law Enforcement and his disregard for the findings of the 9/11 Commission for starters.  Did Hidey not say in October 2020..... “I have this strange notion, we are a democracy … if you can’t get the votes … you can’t [legislate] by executive order unless you’re a dictator. and if not, his replacement will be a woman who would be backed ''bigly'' if she were running in a Democratic primary today.  I believe I specifically told you in 2017 that I agreed Trump was the constitutionally elected president and if he could earn my respect he would receive it.  He continuely did and continues to do the opposite.

I expect a lot of folks will be thankful that politically things have changed as we slowly return to normal and will apportion credit towards Biden as opposed to Trump.  Perhaps you and I will not remember it but I'm betting most Americans will remember $1400!  They will remember getting a Covid shot!  They will remember surviving a few more weeks on unemployment payments before they returned to work. They will remember being able to stay in their apartment. They will remember their favorite restaurant staying in business and reopening.  They will remember $1000 to $1600 enhanced dependant tax credits.  And, they will remember that every single Republican in each house opposed making those memories possible.  It is genius on the part of the Democrats to make sure the vote to continue many of the popular and needed parts of the relief bill will be debated immediately before the 2022 midterms.  A lot like something the Republicans would do, don't you think?

I think Joe Biden is a human and therefore flawed, but also a decent man who is trying to do what is right for all the people of America and don't give two hoots in hell about anybody's diagnosis based on his eyes...Joe's a lot more ''there'' than Trump is!  You keep and defend your opinion and l will, by God, keep and defend mine whether it suits the Trump Cult and you or not!  The 1st Amendment stands and hopefully will continue to do so if Trump and his followers are held at bay!
