UPSMAN:

Here is a earlier post by another forum member regarding Frankies:

Ate at Frankie's On the Water last weekend. They let us "try" the place that time without joining, but said future visits would require a membership because they sell alcohol on Sundays. But the membership fee was $50 per year for non-owners, not $15. Menu had pizza, burgers, sandwiches, etc. The food was good; the burgers were big.

Then I think I remember someone else stating the $50 membership was per person, which makes no sense if it is your immediate family or your guest. Lets see my family of 4 $200 annually - NO THANK YOU, but $50 annually for family -- if food is good and prices reasonable I might consider.

Can anyone give a definitive answer regarding the $50.00 fee please.

you have to sign up for a membership, but you don't have to pay anything at this time. if they don't get a different license (general not private club) in three months you will have to pay the $50.

you can bring guests with the membership, and get 2 cards. maybe more.

the food is probably standard cisco fair. it is well prepared and good for what it is.

have not had pizza yet, but the burgers are large grilled and good.
wings were good as was the grouper sandwich.

the main problem, is some things like the grouper are pre-seasoned so that you cannot get them without the seasoning.

in addition you get to use the pools which are small but still attract the occasional babe. i did not see any diaper babies, which would prohibit me from using the pool.

the woman who runs the place has been on the local resturant scene for years. i have seen her at sinclairs, some fast food places, etc. she was probably hot back in the day but has a few miles now. if you are interested in women over 40 you should check her out.

i was there saturday, and they had run out of application for membership. they were turning people away for that reason. seems stupid they should have more by now.

I was there Sunday and went with somebody that had a membership already so I don't know the dues, but the food and the service was good. There wasn't anybody there but our crowd and that was nice. Beer was cold and the atmosphere was great. That part of the lake needed something for a while.

I don't own a condo there.... imagine looking out at a public club off my $300,000 blacony with the "public" members rocking away..... not exactly a private country club.......
