The Bammer Nation ( bama fans ) are really giving Shula fits after the loss to Arkansas. Where were all of these guys when Mal Moore was searching for a coach? A loss brings out the worse fans in all our nations. Peace.

You know I think the kicker thing is the reason for it. I don't have a clue about the team but I just couldn't understand why that kid kept being sent out there.

I later learned the injured kicker was kicking off. So why wasn't he sent in for fieldgoal kicking?

Shula reminds me of Ray Goff when he coached at Georgia. He was a great guy and recruited well, but he just didn't inspire people to have a lot of confidence in his coaching abilities. With Goff, we hoped we would win, with Richt we think we will win.

Yea...it's ridiculous. Bama is 3 & 1 and they want to fire the coach(s) and bench the players. Bama is probably, and was only expected to be, a middle of the SEC pack team this year. Remember, Shula has no previous head coach experience and the team is relatively young. Given the shape of the program when he arrived, I say he has brought some degree of stability to the program.

I hope the team improves, including the coaches, and wins 8+ games this year. I would expect a better year next year.

They will line up and give all of their opponents all they have for the remainder of the games. They might surprise someone along they way too!

I am an Auburn guy but I prefer that Bama not be a doormat. I think if the Bama Nation gives Shula a chance to grow up, he will do just fine. I expect, however, that when the feared thumb arrives November 18, the Bama boys will have his head. Then the continuing search for the Bear will proceed yet again.
