So I went to Christopher's back in June. enjoyed it.

Want to contact them for a large group. Clicked their link in the advertiser's section and their website is expired according to Godaddy. Anyone know the number? Seems odd you would pay to advertise on this site with a bad link.

I tried earlier today and it worked. Came back to revisit and was broke again. Too bad....website was nice...was looking to explore menu for event. Tried calling number....went to fax

Let's hope not. I'll have to follow-up with them when they are open. I have hundreds of external URLs to keep up with. A report usually tells me every morning what web sites are down, however if there is some page in it's place (like this GoDaddy page), it will not identify it. Many of the advertiser's sites have other webmasters so I'm not responsible for those and I don't know what is going on either.

Oh, I thought there was an invalid URL error in my database when I first read this thread. Then Maverick pointed out to me that the URL was in another state and was not the Christopher's at Lake Martin. :-)

I called and was told no more Sunday buffet. Just the bar will be open. He also said that next week would be ribs... maybe. So I am still unclear as to what happens there on Sunday.

anyway... I had a large group that wanted to eat there during the day next Sunday. Oh well...

Rude told me that he went to the Sunday buffet at Christopher's every Sunday for 3 weeks in a row and that was like one month ago and gorged himself every time (and he also told me he did not eat all day so he could get his monies worth at the buffet). So it is all Rudes fault there is no longer a great Sunday buffet at Christopher's as they lost money every time he showed up.

Now truth be told, based on their offering of gumbo, crab legs, salmon, prime rib, etc and the traffic I saw on the one Sunday we were there I would suspect the Sunday buffet may not have been a profitable venture. But just a guess.

Hope they stay in business as good food and nice folks.
