My wish for 2010 is that our country finds itself again. That our economy recovers and that jobs are created for those who want to work. That we stay strong in the face of the terrorist threat and that our troops don't suffer unnecessary losses. That we regain our sense of ethics and proceed in the world as a fair and honest broker, but also a realistic one. And our country keep it's rightful place as a point of light for those who seek a democratic way of life.
Because at the end of the day, we are Americans and even though we disagree about the best way to achieve our goals, we have the right to give voice to our ideas and differences.

-I , like all of the above , agree with Hound.
-Which of course leads one to think, that perhaps almost every American would agree. However, often general statements mean different things to different people. If asked what it means that America be a leading light for teh world, many people would give many different answers, ...and many of those answers would be directly opposite to each other.
--so although we all agree with HOund....do we really agree?
