I can't take this anymore - listening to Obama talk about immigration reform. Is this the best that this country has to offer? This excuse for a President should be an embarrassment to those Dems and Repubs who voted for him. He does not give a dam% about immigrants. This is all about getting reelected. He has no problem with an execution of UBL but thinks it's horrible that our CIA people water boarded to get the info that allowed the Navy Seals to get OBL.What does he stand for?

What are his priorities? Obviously it's not jobs, gasoline prices, new energy sources, government spending, national debt, and passing a budget. 2012 can't come fast enough!

While he's in El Paso talking about immigration, the mighty Mississippi is flooding at all time levels;refineries in La may be shut down; gasoline supplies, who knows: thousands without homes and jobs; tornado destruction in Ms, Al, and Ga.; and his priority is immigration. Unbelievable!

Gas wholesale prices jumped $.26/gallon overnight, and look to be headed up another nickel today. Retails can't hold off, look for a jump at the pump of $.25 per gallon tomorrow.

By the way, did you see the poor sap from the administration squirming in his seat after Chris Wallace asked him the following question (paraphrased), "I'm confused, on the one hand the administration states that use of enhanced interrogation techniques like waterboarding is wrong and violates our standards and principals but putting two bullets above the left eye of an unarmed Osama bin Laden is OK. Help me understand how that makes any sense, especially since waterboarding may well have helped create the opportunity." These guys are totally incoherent except as it relates to whatever the Messiah and his team think may be electorally advantageous. Hence the focus on immigration to garner the Hispanic vote while gas prices soar, unemployment goes up, our national debt is spiraling out of control, Standard and Poor puts a negative rating on our bonds, the dollar is in free fall and on and on. No wonder he only got a 3% bump in the polls from whacking OBL. It wasn't long after that folks had to head to the pumps and pay $4-$5 per gallon and they realized that the death of OBL doesn't cover the cost. Hopeless and Change for the Worse!

He stands for being against business.   Lets get another $21 billion from those bad oil companies because they make a lot of money.  But they have a higher effective tax rate than most business and huge risk and liabilty.  Raising their taxes will drive more jobs overseas, raise gas prices ... so guess who pays that $21B ... yup we do!   What an idiot.

He says he wants to remove "subsidies" ... nope he wants to eliminate tax deductions for oild companies that every other business enjoys.  Why because he thinks wind mills and solar panels, along with 600sf house like in europe is where we should be.  Along with riding bikes to work or all mass transit because no one can afford gas.

Again ... what an idiot.

O is an excellent politician, perhaps even exceptional.  He has and continues to dupe enough people to get his agendas passed. The immigration issue does need addressing, but as you say, at this time? Perhaps this is smoke n mirrors as a magician does to distract while the real trick goes unnoticed right before your eyes.

Is this a left-wing conspiracy?  Executive fiat?  How can the nation’s looming and dire problems languish while this Pretender, his patrons, and clueless advisors go off on insignificant tangents, distracting publicity junkets, and political press opportunities?  Our nation sags under the weight of his malfeasance, incompetence, and “stylin” arrogance.

We have problems which require leadership… There is no such position as “absentee helmsman.”

Meanwhile the Republican leadership is advancing real alternatives to solve our imminent financial mega-crisis.

BTW, saw a pic of Martha Roby with Gen Petraus (sp?) in Afghanistan...my, how quickly things can change for a housewife from Montgomery Alabama who gets a seat on the City Council, then WHAM, there she is as one of our Congressmen(persons?) rubbing elbows with the next CIA Director....:>)
