Checked yelp on Kowaliga not so good

What is wrong?  Why do all of the lake restaurants suck?

Harbor Docks was just as bad but reviews were old.

For Most: 1. Personnel 2. Personnel 3. Personnel. You can throw in lack of understanding of the business for some but for most still revolves around people. The ones that are successful over the long haul you generally will see the same people in the restaurant each time.

Good food plus good service should be a simple business model that would ensure success.  This doesn't apply to MacDonald's in Dadeville...otherwise, it would be closed.

I completely agree,,,,,,,about McDonalds in Dadeville.  It has to be the worst McDonalds in the state.

And don't mention that nasty Subway in Dadeville.

Don't overlook the  shrinking number of jobs in the area. Some folks are still here but doing marginal work making less. That has to affect restaurants

The daughter and son-in-law went to Springhouse on the Saturday of Labor Day. When they returned to collect the boys the two of them were positively thrilled at their dining experience.

On the other hand, we’re retired and Springhouse is too expensive for us on a regular basis (plus, we live on the War Eagle side of The Lake). It is sad that we have to drive to Auburn…closer than Springhouse… to get a nice, romantic, but affordable dinner out.  There’s nothing in Dadeville… nothing in Alex City.

If only they could move that nice locale on Blue Creek to the profitable side of the causeway.

(For sure there is no Route 49 bridge over Blue Creek… it’s nothing but a large culvert.)

My last trip in there while my better and myself were placing out order, an argument broke out between staff members. Never seen anything like it. The folks that own Mickey-D must own that place too.
