I am looking for a nice used pontoon boat. Must have at least a 150hp outboard with a strong perference for a Yamaha or Honda. Also strong preference for a tri-toon. Up to 5 years old.

if you're not in a hurry, wait about 3 months and then spend time checking boattrader.com dealers (new and used). Don't worry about advertised price and make some offers....they will be very negotiable if they have excess end of year inventory. Also consider dealers around the lake that sell boats on consignment and watch for deals on craigslist....people will be looking for some Christmas money.
