Forgot to mention a dock that is 13 foot wide would fit the best..

keep this in the back of your mind.... I've got two large styrophome? sections about 10 feet in length and like 2'x1 3/4' something like that. that came out of one we tore down last year. These were somewhat water logged when removed from the water...don't know if that's normal or not. But have been sitting on concrete since. Your welcome to have them if you would like.

Anyone is..... I burned one last year, and didn't like the result...big mistake.

Real Island area.

Thanks TIVO, for the time being I will hold out for a completed floater.

The styrofoam is illegal in the lake now. You must have bladder type flotation

Is the closed-cell (blue) variety now banned also? It doesn't disintegrate over time as the old styrofoam does, and was OK for my last project about three years ago.

Now that I re-measured 16 foot would be the best fit..Thanks!

The blue closed-cell type is apparently still o.k.

I mistakenly went on the assumption recently that I had to use the encased bladders, which are WAY more expensive. And in my case, were not just a "plug-and-play" solution due to the original configuration of the pier....
