Anyone know of a local place (within 50/70 miles of Lake Martin) that sells pontoon boat supplies? ie. carpet, wood flooring, seats, etc. I'm redoing my boat and looking for supplies. Advice appreciated.

There is a boat seating repair business close to Pell City on Hwy231. The business is about 15 miles past Harpersville on 231 on the right. I stoped there last year looking for a pontoon trialer, they did not sell them but spent 30-40 min. on the phone calling marinas in the area. The area would be Cropwell it think. i

I would try on the internet. You can get OMNOVA NAUTOLEX VINYL FLOORING at www.defender.com. It is much easier to keep clean than carpet lasts longer and is used on many new boats.
www.pontoonstuff.com has seats and other things. the seats are not as plush as some of the new boats but they are made to never rot and carry a lifetime warranty. it is usually cheaper to buy new seats than to have your covered especially if you have to have any wood repaired.

We would be happy to help. We can to the entire resto project if you would like. If you are interested, please call the shop. Steve. 334.358.2838. Some of the Pontoon ideas are fun, and turn out really cool.
ps. Kizma, how is the Scarab?

Hi Cat, the Scarab is wintering in Old Seabrook Tx. I unfortunately have been having to work, due to the state of the economy. If the water comes up, I will bring it back after Mardi Gras.

I believe there is a pontoon manufacturer in Sylacauga. I know there was and you could buy marine plywood and carpet from them.

Good grief.. you can get marine plywood and carpet from Spencer, Lowes or Home Depot... Might think about taking the whole boat to "BJ" unless you are unemployed, bored and need a project.. Been there and did that.. it bites.. She ain't cheap or fast, but does good work and is certainly colorful..
Good luck
