The dog has decided to take a nap, he has to get some rest because he has plenty more barking to do tomorrow morning... FYI - if I have a problem with a neighbor's pet/car/kids whatever, I will address it with them - what would be wrong with simply asking them to be more considerate? If that fails, ramp up the requests, then rig up some high powered ultrasonic generators.

I had a neighbor that called the dog catcher one time when all he had to do was call me. My youngest son had let the dog out without putting on the dogs wireless collar but he did have his regular collar with tags. You know sometimes all you have to do is go and talk to the person instead of being a kid and talking about it on a form page. Be an adult!

That's why I need somebody at The Ridge to tell me who it is. I can hear it over the water but not sure what house it's coming from! I would LOVE to have a nice chat with the owner. It's barking again this morning.

It's pretty tough, too, to have an adult chat with someone who thinks that letting a dog bark in a neighborhood is just fine. People who live on a lake and haven't thought about the fact that sound carries across water are not the kind you really want to chat with. Clearly most adults already know that that would be annoying to someone else. The people don't care about you or they wouldn't be doing it in the first place. Constant barking is not the same issue as a one-time loose dog.
