     Can't believe what this younger generation is coming to.  Makes me feel very bad for the youngin's that can't enjoy life like the older gereration had without needing to worry about all the thing that can happen to them without the older brother or sister being armed for protection.  Just my thoughts, glad I'm old and was able to go do things without worries of Todays violence.  Had fun as a kid.  Just my thoughts.

I don't think Satan is on the loose.  There have always been evil people out there.  Back in the day, there were people that we were told to avoid, but now, thanks to the media, we are just a lot more aware.  I think perhaps parents worry more now than they did back in the day.  I think parents had a lot more to worry about and they didn't hover over their kids every minute of every day.  You know, back in the day when everyone didn't get a trophy for just showing up?

I'm with you on the Media, they will do anything for a story.  Just remembering my older days.  There were issues which we all had to avoid but it seems now they were hidden and shoved under the carpets.  Nothing was brought out like these days.

I agree with you that it is sad that today's children will never know the freedoms we had when we were kids.  We would play outside without adult supervision from morning until evening.  We even had a hide and seek game that we played after dark, without fear.  We had to create our own fun.
