Mark Sanford’s road to a political comeback just got a lot steeper. The National Republican Congressional Committee said Wednesday that it would not be putting any money toward electing Mr. Sanford in the May 7 special election campaign for the Charleston, S.C.-based First District House seat. Mr. Sanford faces Democrat Elizabeth Colbert Busch.

Just like his hero TOTUS. Gee, I wonder if the DNC would has the remotest shred of similar decency.....oh never mind, they support any and all Dems regardless of being tax cheats, adulterers, etc. Its almost a qualification for their financial support.
Ah yes, I can see them in their smoke filled room debating the merits of providing financial support to Sanford and then a staffer rushes in and exclaims, "Folks, the debate is over.....I was reading the Lake Martin forum and some left wing nut that goes by GF says we should walk away from this guy!!!". They all agree that it is indeed settled and then move onto the next agenda item. RFLMAO!
GF, you suffer from delusions of grandeur......let me restate that.....delusions of mediocrity. I would seek therapy and medication before you spin out of control.

AU...........My previous Fair and Balanced posts were obviously read by the GOP as I have NO DOUBT they based their decision on my truthful and unbiased opinion that Sanford does not deserve support. Do you think differently?

CHARLESTON, S.C. — Former South Carolina Gov. Mark Sanford advanced Tuesday to a runoff in the Republican contest for an open congressional seat along the state’s southern coast, taking a step toward reviving a political career that was derailed by an extramarital affair while he was governor.
Tuesday was Sanford’s first political race since disappearing while governor in 2009 and then returning to admit an affair with an Argentine woman. They are now engaged.

The fate of Mark Sanford is in the hands of South Carolina voters, not mine. By the way, did you support Sanford before he had "lust in his heart" and obviously other parts of his body? I'm confused as to why you would be concerned who in on the Republican ticket.

I find it rather hypocritical that the party that constantly reminds us that they stand for high moral values, high ethical values, and a strong belief in God would support someone with the character that Sanford has shown in the past. As I have been frequently reminded, one would expect that his sexual resume would be an enhancer for my party but not yours.

Let's see, we have the exception of Sanford in the GOP versus the rule of degenerates in the Dem party. I will take the occasional lapse in judgement versus the modus operandi any day. When you have no standards, morals or integrity you can never be called a hypocrite. Ah.....life in the modern Democrat party.........le Bon tonne roule!!!!
