Media is reporting The Whitehouse served wagyu steaks at the cocktail party for selected congressional members last night. Not being an aficionado of red meat, I thought I would consult the most authoritarian source available, The New York Times...see link. I guess the recession hasn't hit inside the beltway.

Not sure why they would serve "foreign" beef because my understanding that the WH usually uses US products from US sources. I can't imagine American beef producers letting this go by.

Arrogance is a word that comes to mind when I learned of this................in the same league as the over the top bonuses for CEOs and other leaders who seem to collect whether their companies are successful or not.
