I was thinking about having Class IV throwable devices for our HOBO boats.
************************ from source ****************************************
USCG PFDs approved must lift:

Throwable:
Cushion 20 lb.
Ring Buoy IV 16.5 & 32 lb.
******************* end source *******************************************
Does anyone know if inland recreational boats might ever need the higher standard of 32 lb?

I was thinking that a hard foam round PFD throwable device with some logo on it would be nice to hang on the stern of boat. Free to members, $15 to buy. Many families will join as a single to get a "free" PFD. Once joined, they may upgrade or become more active. The novelty sizes retail for $9.95 It must be maybe $3 by the gross. I'm looking into it.
OR
it reads Lake Martin HOBO, member, if a member, Lake Martin HOBO, if not.
I also like
Lake Martin HOBO (over)
Captain (under)
for entry level family and
Lake Martin HOBO (over)
Admiral (under)
for an endowment type of extra donation with levels in between, I have to work on that. A captain in US Navy is very high (O-6) already and words like vice Admiral, fleet Admiral are not well known. Could be Ensign, Commander, Captain, Admiral,

I have had the "six pack" approved IV and they are monsters!

I will throw out these ideas in case I can't make the meeting. Going to Pelham tommorrow.

No, don' have a six pack of beer now.
A six pack license allows the captian to carry up to six passengers.

50-50 blend tee shirts, crew neck with 15 XXL and 85 XL or smaller with text on the front would be $404.00 or $4.29 each

with a Logo on back is $629.
no shipping, but maybe tax

Other styles availble. I paid $3.68 in 1986 for color with a colored fish print so that sounds good to me. I'll keep looking.

Oskar gets her shirts. They are great quality. I have several that have been worn and washed for years and years and still look great. I hope the HOBO shirts will be available for children, as well. I also like the idea of decals/bumper stickers, etc.

Any kind of shirt can be ordered. Its the usual; better costs more. The $3.99 XL, front only tees are cheaply made.

If we want better, we can just order bettrer. It will be more than $3.99. There are pocket tee with collars, that I like too.

Google tee shirt printed wholesale

and try below for one

My father has a business that does uniforms and that type of stuff mainly for schools (PE) and little leagues. He has them screen printed or embroidered in Birmingham. He can get just about any quailty or style of tee shirts, golf shirts, fleece pullovers or hats at very good prices.
Of course, like anything the higher the quantity the better the price.
Has a decision been made about what would be on the shirt? I could get him to give me some prices on several different things to get to ya'll but I would need to have an idea of how many would be ordered, pocket, front/back and what type of design or wording.
Is somebody working on a logo?
