Curious ... what past performance are you refering to? This was a very odd post. Are you refering to the performance over the last two years since the democrats controlled both houses of congress? If so, I agree and it is something to be scared about. It has given us $4 gas and refusal to address or propose a meaningful option (only igore the problems exists as $700 billion "a year" flows out of this country), a failed banking system due to the give away loans and the refusal to acknowledge a problem when bills were introduced and the democrats beat up on the regulator that surfaced how serious the problem was .... now look at the mess.
So yes, I agree the performance of congress has been horrible since the democrats took control and we should vote them all out and give it back to the republicans that can get things done are are really for the people with less taxes and less government, rather than more government and pushing socialism.
If that is what you meant .... you are right on the mark.

Maybe you were refering to the past performance of Obama and who he associates with. I would agree with that as well. It is very scary to think a man could be president that calls William Ayers his friend, or rev Wright that has condemed america and said the US got what they "deserved" with 9/11. Or how about all his pals at Fannie and Freddie that face criminal investigations and walked with over a $150 million in bonuses and now are advisors to Obama.
How about Obama as an attorney suing banks if they did not give enough sub prime loans.
Wow ... you are so right that his past behaviors should most definitely be considered before anyone votes for him. He is not an honorable individual like McCain that was willing to die for his country and stayed as a POW rather than leave before someone that was there before him if he just said things that were against his love of country. That is type of character we need leading our country.

I agree with the question, "why were the above comments flagged?" This site has been discussing politics for some time, so those comments seem appropriate as to type. The content is reasonably expressed. Now if you don't agree with the content, state you're own. But why flag as inappropriate????

WW, I agree with your comparisons of the presidential candidates. My purpose of this post was to get people to NOT THINK about what politicians SAY they will do but to look at WHAT they have done and WHO has been their supporters and associates in the past. THIS WILL NOT CHANGE when they are elected. My other intent was to get voters to also apply this decision process to other elections, ESPECIALLY THE STATE COURT JUDGES AND CONGRESSIONAL RACES..
