Is that the place on 280? Last time I was by there, it looked to me like it had closed. Maybe it was just closed that day. Watching Kenny Dean, hmmm. Do you ever call him and say hey? I'm always amazed that he seems to know everyone that calls by their first name. My art teacher knows him and said he is the kind of guy that just knows everyone.

We ate there last Friday for lunch. Had the Jumbo BBQ and Onion Rings with Sweet Tea. Very good. Looks like multiple lunch items to choose from for $5. The guy next to us had the Hamburger, it was huge. Get there before 11:30 or stand in line. The staff was excellent and takes a lot to impress me. It is just a good hole in the wall BBQ joint that serves good food at the right price. I'll be back later this week.

Next to the Chevron in Dadeville, across the street from the meat and three in the old Hardee's building.

It's great!  These folks were out on Hwy 280 but moved in to town.

For those intrested in history, the Chevron you mention is on the site of "Southside Service Station" (Standard Oil) and the meat and three is on the site of "Fuller Ford" (our local Ford dealership).  The Pit Stop is on the site of what was the Southside Motel.  The dry cleaners across the street has been there all this time.  BBQ hasn't changed...it's either good or average.  Never had any that's bad.
