To all of our Logan Martin Lake Protection Association Members,
Logan Martin LakeFest takes place on May 11 and 12, 2012 at Horizons in Pell City. Last year, this was a great event for LMLPA and our community. This year promises to be great as well, with a Crawfish Boil, Live Music, Fireworks Show, and of course, the boats and vendors. (for more information on LakeFest visit www.loganmartinlakefest.com)
We need volunteers to man (or woman) the LMLPA tent during LakeFest. Shifts are two hours each, and primary responsibilities will involve: sitting in the shade, sipping on cold water, and chatting up visitors about how great our organization and lake are. Sound good?
If so, take a look at the sign-up sheet and let me know ASAP by email (mike.riley@lmlpa.org) , or phone (205-531-2372 or 205-525-5309) which time slots you’ll take. First come first served. You can download the sign-up sheets in the following formats:

I will be laid back in Jamaica, hate to miss it but you gotta do what you gotta do, lol, hope they have their water at full pool
Movinfr8, was that you tied up to some more boats Saturday on the right going toward the dam? I started to stop but I had several people from a get together at my house and was taking them for a ride

Yes sir..... you should have stopped.... we are plenty of entertainment and always have room for more....
I love Jamaica.... what part..... if you are on the Negril side get you a cab driver to take you to 3 dives....... great place for lobster and jerk chicken...... 6 of us ate there and including beer was maybe $60..... pretty view too on a cliff over the ocean

Negril, We have an all inclusive at Beaches but I saw Rick's Cafe so we may go there and watch the cliff divers, sunset and get a drink. We will do some Scuba, Snorkling & sail Hobie Cats, it is all included in the room

Ricks is a tourist trap but a fun place to go to..... we went there and then to 3 dives for dinner..... ricks food was not bad just pricy

that is what I read, Rick's was pricey & crowded but had live music so we may go there for a drink and snack. Rain is on the weather map so I see the lake level went down today

On Logan Martin we live in an upside down world..... I sat and watched a nice solid rain yesterday morning and has been kind of scattered today and the water is noticibly down.
There are signs on the dam road that the road over the dam will be closed the 9th..... i wonder if that has anything to do with them keeping the levels down?
I would hate for them to be messing with our fun for no real reason...... I would accept the "repair excuse" before the "drought" excuse.

It's 4 doors down river on the same side of the lake. The owner took a lot that was a disaster and has made it a beautiful place.

It looks to be a beautiful view..... and i forgot where your place was, I was thinking you were 1-2 from the marine police..... now i remember where you are.
