I could make a long laundry list starting with the inevitable comparisons of the Clinton and Bush presidencies, even if half fiction. He is just another RINO and not really conservative. He also has a blind spot on illegals and is making the same error as his brother when it comes to the Hispanic vote.

You are making me feel bad. I really hope you are wrong but I understand your pessimism given the last several election cycles.

I have tried very hard to like Jeb Bush, but I just don't see anything there. He seems like a nice man, but he has a real penchant for sticking his foot in his mouth at every outing. Another thing I don't like - his "advisors" see to be the same ones used by his father and brother. This tells me he is not his own man; and really, do we need a Rummy/Wolfowitz redo? Now, if I knew that Gordon England was advising him, I might be impressed.

Cruz handled himself well With M. Kelly on FOX last night. Never lost his cool. Impressive. Kelly's hero has to be the late Mike Wallace.

Agree with the Mike Wallace comment. She was an attorney before going into radio/TV.

Matt Lauer Got It Right

Matt Lauer on Today Show got it right......
Lauer also asked Trump about his ongoing feud with Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly, whom Trump has frequently criticized since the first GOP primary debate. Following the event, Trump accused Kelly of being unprofessional and overly aggressive in her questioning.
"You know what? It starts to sound a little bit — and take this in the right way, Donald — like you're a guy with a schoolyard crush. When we’re in elementary school and junior high school, guys often say the meanest things about the girls they like the most," Lauer told Trump.
"Trust me, Matt, there is no crush,” Trump said. “That I can tell you.”

I assume you knew about the Trump/Rosie O'Donnell feud. When he believes someone has crossed him, he doesn't give up. I think he should let it go because she is media and he is a candidate, and if he later is elected, he's going to have to do better dealing with the media, who are only going to get tougher. As you know, NYC is full of people who will get in anyone's face and stay there, and he is a native NYer. He's also establishing boundaries, but, he needs to be careful.
Having said that, I agree with the ouster of the Univision guy last night. The guy had, what I call the "20 minute question", which usually means that they are going to give their opinion and make a little speech before ever getting to the question.

I doubt the media would treat the POTUS the same way they treat Mr. Trump.

if you are referring to the media treatment of the current POTUS. With only a few exceptions the media is giving the Donald a lot more face time and frankly better treatment than they are currently giving Barack Obama! He is the current phenom and he knows it and he milks it and the media laps it up. Scary thing, is this guy could end up in the White House! I remember, all the pundits snickered at Lester Maddox until he took the oath of office a goobernator of GA.

Saw Chris Christie on the news this morning. Segment was supposed to be about his run for the WH, but all the media could do was ask him about Donald. Ticked Christie off. Donald is sucking the oxygen. Even poor Ted Cruz ended up hoping to get some oxygen by trying to start a fight with Megan whoever on Fox, but he couldn't get much press.
I'm loving it. Donald is saying things that people think but don't say because we've all be schooled in political correctness. I actually agree with some of his thoughts. I predict if he wins, he will be a rock star, like Putin is in Russia. I just hope he gets Chris Christie as his vice. A New Yorker and a New Jerseyian won't take no chit from no one.
