Our third cat is named K.T......started out calling him kitty and then that evolved into K. T............Tiger has stripes like a tiger and sometimes wants to play too rough .....Bubba is just a good old country cat.....goes around butting his big head into the hardest objects he can find...very sweet cat though....all three were homeless and hungry until their luck took a very sharp upturn........

OK, for strike two I will go with Janet. Then strike three & I am out is Jeanie. Just doesn't rhyme with Atlanta. Maybe there is another connection I am missing. (After my strike out, we will have GoneFishin have a turn at bat.)

Here we go with the Zoo:

Browning - German Short Haired Pointer(Liver colored head with liver ticking)

Babe, Slick and Fluff - Female Seal Point Siamese

Goody - Female Chocolate Siamese

Tyler - Male Seal Point

Quinn - Male Chocolate

Lost Feb who was a male chocolate just last week.

I want get into the birds, but they do not have names.

Now, I know for a fact.... from first hand, hands on information that ....
J.A.W. = "just add water".
I actually met JAW on the lake, when a jet ski came over to me and ask that I go and get someones boat started. Just so happened that it was JAW. Indeed, there was the lady in distress, sitting there with a dead battery, probably out of water. Anyway, we got her going, and away they went.
J.A.W. = "just add water", to the battery. LOL, I enjoyed that.

I almost forgot......

Lab is named "Rowdy", he lays around and does nothing, just as I would do if you cut my "you know what" off.

One cat is named "Ugly", it is the ugliest cat in the whole world.

Weenie dog is named "Daisey", she looks like a Long wheel base 4 door truck.

Hunter - 3 year old Chesapeake Bay Retriever. When he as a puppy he use to come to the lake with me. He loved swimming so very much. At about two years old he got very mean. Now he stays in the back yard and has been responsible for two rather bad dogs on some stupid fools that couldn't read "no tresspassing" and "beware of dog". So i'm afraid he would attack someone or a little kid at the lake. So he doesn't get to come anymore :( But I still love him. the smartest dog I have ever had.

Blue - 8 year old Irish Setter.

Casper - Stupid black cat.

Long time watcher, first time poster, but I had to respond to this one.

2 dogs - collie/lab mix, brother and sister. DUMB and DUMBER.
Dumber won hishame cause he continually falls asleep on the dock, rolls over and falls in the water....much like his owner

Black MinPin -- Thor
Red MinPin -- Thunder (Thunder turned out to be terrified of thunder)

Silver Yorkie - Omar
Silver Yorkie - Ike

Yorkies were to be named "Omar" and "Sherrif", but my husband butted in and named the little one Ike. Oh well.

Some of you may remember the week after Katrina I posted an appeal to place the dogs with someone, as we had evacuated to our lake house with all 4 dogs. Our home flooded and property sustained a great deal of damage, so we had no place to keep them when we returned home.

I am happy to tell you, I placed all 4 dogs in the Montgomery and Sylacauga area. I retrieved all 4 after about 3-1/2 months in foster care.

They received excellent care from excellent people. We are not back in our house yet, but the dogs are staying with my daughter, who has been able to get back into her house.

Words cannot explain my gratitude to those people who stepped up to help me and my dogs.

Had to do a Google search to find out "whats a MinPin". OK, they are miniature pinschers (Cool littlle dog). Nice to hear good news about your dogs foster care. Hope things work out as well as possible on your home. That has to be most distressing. Hope your home owner's insurance is taking good care of you in the situation. I know so many were without flood insurance.
