It's amazing to me, that Lake Martin is 40,000 acres, and still there are those of you who would like to sit on the forums and complain that the lake is too small for cabin cruisers and house boats? This lake goes beyond just Kowliaga and the Rock.

I DON'T AGREE , PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM KILL ME . COMPLAIN , COMPLAIN IS THE MOTTO OF THIS FORUM . MY BOATS TO SMALL OR YOU WENT TO FAST IN FRONT OF MY PIER . YOUR THE SAME PEOPLE THAT WHEN I 'M FISHING YOU TURN YOUR LIGHT OUT ON YOUR DOCK SO I WANT CATCH ALL YOUR FISH UP . ITS A REASON TO BE A A$$HOLE AN MAYBE YOU DO NEED TO HANG ON THE PIER WHERE YOU CAN KICK YOUR DOG EVERY NOW AND AGAIN . IF A PERSON CAN'T ENJOY THEM SELVES IN A 18 OR 19 FT RUNABOUT OR A PONTOON , IT'S NOT THE WAVES OR THE POWERBOATS ON THIS LAKE , ITS YOU AND ONLY YOU BEING A BABY , LEARN TO ACCEPT WHAT YOU GOT TO WORK WITH AND HAVE A GOOD TIME OR COMPLAIN SOME MORE AND IN THAT CASE I DON'T WANT TO GET ALONG WITH YOU AT ALL...

(or, rather screamed) "IF A PERSON CAN'T ENJOY THEM SELVES IN A 18 OR 19 FT RUNABOUT OR A PONTOON , IT'S NOT THE WAVES OR THE POWERBOATS ON THIS LAKE , ITS YOU AND ONLY YOU BEING A BABY."

So I guess you'll be getting rid of YOUR big boat since, as you say, you don't need it to enjoy yourself. After all, if you can be just as happy with a smaller, slower, quieter, more affordable boat, what's the point of having one that aggravates people?

Let us know what kind of runabout you're trading your big boat in for, OK?! Or, are you going to get a pontoon boat?

Who makes a nice, comfortable 18 or 19 foot boat anymore, i have a 20 foot Proline 2002 model, now Prolines smallest boat is a 21 footer i believe, wakes are created by BOATS if you dont like to bounce around a little go for a drive in your car, my 20 footer handles anything they can dish out on lake martin and its not 50 grand either, go see Don i believe they handle Proline now, Scarab Man is good person who knows how to handle a boat and respect other, thats what is ABOUT. It is about teaching people respect for others, but that can be hard to teach to people who are set in there ways, end of rant, peace

don't take that the wrong way; caps are just harder to read and it can be construed as yelling

Upthread, you stated "I ENJOY A VERY NICE 92 MODEL HARRIS PONTOON AND I RIDE EVERY CHANCE I GET TO. MY OTHER MONSTER BOAT IS A 18 FT CENTER CONSOLE FLAT BOTTOM BOAT I FISH OUT OF." So tell us, which one of these is the one that goes 70? The Pontoon boat, of the 18-foot flat-bottomed fishing boat?

I DO have one more question: Which of these boats is the one you're talking about below, in the post where you say "it was hard to get in my boat and go poke around at 70 !!"

Does your pontoon boat go 70? Or is it your flat-bottomed fishing boat?

That's what i get for posting before finishing the thread!

Nice to see that I'm not the only one who noticed SCARAB's little slip-up, though.

Why would you buy a boat that , according to you, you don't need? And why didn't you mention this boat when you were telling us about the boats you own?

Don't bother answering, your reasons are obvious.

Congratulations on finding the Caps Lock key, though!
