Yes, yes, yes. This is exactly what I was trying to say months ago and all I got was this song and dance about Alabama Power owned the lake and the FERC set their water levels in stone and nothing could be done for years, if ever. And I stated that the FERC was a Federal agency and anything with the Government is subject to pressure by the voters. There is hope for us. Yes, yes, yes.......

I never claimed to be an authority on APCO, just better informed than most, and especially YOU. Now if you are going to flame somebody you really should make an effort to get your head out of your @ss and get the facts right. I have NEVER claimed the water level was controlled by the FERC. I have stated many times, however, that the level is controlled by the Corps. I stand behind that. They set the guidelines with a percentage of deviation allowed for day to day operation and local weather conditions. Are exceptions made for for extenuating circumstances? OF COURSE THEY ARE!! Only idiots like yourself would think otherwise. All one has to do to see an example of this is to look at any reservoir in the state. But some disgruntled homeowners does NOT qualify. Get over yourself.

All I read yesterday in the press release was that the FERC only granted another one year license instead of the 30 year APCO sought. It also stated that this has been the case for the past several years now. So why is it all of a sudden such a great victory? I don't know what is going on with the Smith license, and frankly don't care.

I guess in your overgrown opinion of yourself you see this a some great victory. HA HA!! Why don't you just ask the FERC to revoke the APCO license for The Martin hydro project and give it to the HOBO's? Then you can be in charge and run things. Until then I would be happy for you to just STFU!

Now if you would like to read some more on the water wars, take the link below.

This is stunning. I know it has been posted before, but when is the Tallapoosa River permit due for renewal? Hopefully this will aid APCo in making decisions going forward.
