Okay,

So I bit on all the forum pro's and con's and headed down to the lake to try the new LMOB this past Saturday and here are the comments of two people who ate and also spoke to the owners:

#1 - Service - the resturant was very crowded and like any new business they are choking on their successes (isn't this a problem we would all like to have in this economy), however we sat at the bar and the service was very quick. I would give them a B+

#2 - Food - The bar tender told us that these were not apalachicola (spelling?) oysters and were smaller, but would taste as good or better - and they did! Oysters A-. Onion Rings were perhaps the best that we ever had using red onions and a great batter - A+. Crab claws were large, tasty and perfectly fried - A+. We had the red beans and rice and they were not New Orleans Style - we talked to the owner and he was grateful, honest, and interested in our suggestions they offered to comp us, but we ate the whole bowl and were willing to pay for them RB&R - C, listening to the customer A.

They have started with a bang, everyone needs to give them a break and try them and make their own decision. They will work out the kinks and hopefully will do well.

How can you beat the onion rings
Better red wine is needed- but the rings beat Ruth Chris

I loved the place

Good Luck
