Alabama/Auburn 50 yard line

A man had 50 yard line tickets for the Auburn/ Alabamagame. As he sits

down, a man comes down and asks if anyone is sitting in the seat next

him. "No," he says, "the seat is empty."

"This is incredible," said the man. "Who in their right mind would
have a
seat like this for the Auburn/Alabama game, the biggest sporting event
in
the world, and not use it?"

He says, "Well, actually, the seat belongs to me. I was supposed to
come
with my wife, but she passed away. This is the first Auburn/Alabama
game
we haven't been to together since we got married in 1987."

"Oh ... I'm sorry to hear that. That's terrible! But couldn't you find

someone else, a friend or relative, or even a neighbor to take the

seat?".

The man shakes his head. "No, they're all at her funeral."

last time I went to an Ala-Aub game a bunch of rude auburn fans threw firecrackers at us Ala.folks.......... We just picked them up, lit them, and threw them back......................

The Alabama Board of Trustees passed a ruling that in the future all bama grads were to be buried on campus, neked, face down, on top of the ground. Due to increased enrollment they need more places to park the bicycles.

I am surprised to read that. I have been attending Auburn-Alabama games steadily since 1961 and have always been impressed at the courtesy extended by both sides. We are southern folk and are nice to people.

If you wish to see rude, visit Tallahassee during an FSU-Gator game. Or any other FSU game for that matter.

First son went to FSU and for parent's weekend, we didn't notice that.

It was the Auburn/Georgia game in Athens that turned my stomach. Let's see....1983, I believe.

I, therefore, am a good Auburn wife.
