Subject:	DUI underage boater crashes into Kowaliga dock?

Just saw on the WSFA web site that an underage (for alcohol) boater crashed into a Kowaliga Marina dock last night, sending himself and his passenger to the hospital.  Anyone have details?  The article says he was cited for DUI and minor in possession, while his 19 year old passenger was cited for minor in possession.

Yes. Ski boat hit a pier. The passenger had a forged ID.  Thankfully they were the only two hurt and were being treated at the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. The operator was from B'ham and 20 years old. Just another example why alcohol and boating doesn't mix.

Boats gathered on the SE side, near the lighthouse. Towboat USA was there, too, and a water patrol boat, blue lights flashing,but all the way over on the NW side (near the ramp.) Southbound cars stopped on the bridge, though motorcycles could go north. At least one ambulance. Looked like a crowd of (maybe) more motorcyclists gathered at the southern end. This was happening between 11:00 and noon Saturday, but was over and done with by 2:00.

BAJ - That was a different incident - what you saw was the incident where the motorcycle laid over during the parade for The Girls Ranch.  The reports said a rider hit a sand patch and wrecked on the bridge,  Lots of road rash and a broken rib but the rider is recovering.
