It's supposed to rain late Friday or Saturday. I haven't been checking the actual numbers, but it looks to me like it's come up quite a bit.

We did not have rain last year and some how we were raising at a much faster pace.

We had a number of line storms last year that dumped a lot of rain in a short time. I seem to recall several Fridays in a row doing so. Last year, the Alex City airport rain gauge did not show much for Feb (~2.5") yet other gauges in our watershed showed as much as 8".
The soakings we've gotten this year have been good for our soil moisture and water tables. Thankful for that.

Yep, we had a lot more heavy rains last year.....looks like we may get a gully washer Friday; that should help.
