It's probably only new to me, of course.
Mi Pueblita, in Eclectic. It's right on 63 just as you come into town (if you're coming from the lake.) Very good AUTHENTIC Mexican food. It's the best I've had east of Sante Fe, and my wife ,who grew up out west, says it's as good as anything she had out there.
If you like real Mexican food, I highly suggest Mi Pueblita. And no, I have no financial interest in the restaurant at all; I hadn't even heard of it before today. But I DO have an interest in it staying open, because I plan to eat there a lot.

Yes. It is the best in the Lake Martin area as far as I am concerned. The last time I was there they still didn't have their liquor license. I find it hard to eat Mexican food without at least a beer. Any one that has not tried this place you need to remember that there are 2 Mexican restaurants in Eclectic. Do yourself a favor and try this place out...
There was one review (Not a good review) of this restaurant that I believe the reviewer had mistaken the other restaurant for this one. If it had a bar inside it was not this one.

We eat Mexican a lot. In my opinion, Mi Pueblita is less consistent than Ranchito Morin.....we've had good experiences at both, but also had a few bad ones at Mi from a quality standpoint. Both do a decent job with service. With Mi, I think it depends which family members are running the show. For the menu items I typically order, Ranchito is my favorite (King steak burrito with guacamole and salad....be really hungry... or lunch fajitas). I hope they can both co-exist in a tough restaurant environment.

Good for you! Let's help support this wonderful restaurant! I know I do! We need a quiet little place like this in Eclectic where my daughter and I can both eat for $7. What else could you want!
