Thanks for the heads up. Appears the website address I was provided is for intranet use only. Try the link below, should work better.

We've attended many water use meetings around the state. Sure hope we have a good turnout. Ultimately, water and waste disposal will determine the future of every region. We all have a vested interest in what goes on.

Maybe the link below will help for info on the 5th Annual Tallapoosa River Basin State of Our Watershed Conference. Great opportunity to get involved and help with the stewardship of Lake Martin's watershed.

OK you rookies, you should know better then try to post an https:// (secure) URL to this website as Bruce's URL links always begin with http:// and he strips out the first http:// - LOL

Hey Bruce - Can you change your logic in that if the first characters before the : (colon) is http: strip the http, but if is not let the users URL stand and do not strip. This might correct this issue.

Ok now here is what you need to do to view the Watershed Conference page ---- copy the below URL into your web browser and the correct web page should come up.

Ok, I have this fixed. The problem stemmed from a fix for people that did not put the "http://" in the URL. Nothing wrong with that, but the web page link requires it. At one time I figured posting SSL links would be nill to none. I was wrong.

The way it will work now is it prepends "http://" only to a URL that does not start with "http". That should get most scenarios, except cases where someone leaves out the "https://". But that would be more rare.

I know I still owe you editing capabilities, Mav... And OT wants a "Like" button... The problem is I've been busy on other people's sites. I'll be caught up soon.

I'm really in need of some lake time to clear my head. I'll be at the lake in May for a duration.
