I have a lake house on Blue Creek and would like to know if anyone can recommend a reasonable lawn service. Are there still any teens around that are willing to cut grass? Unfortunately we are not able to be at the lake often enough to take care of it ourselves. We really do love our little piece of heaven when we can make it.

Teens don't cut anymore-- Grass cutting has changed-Grass cutters are making more than white collar professionals and I just can't understand it. Why, a junior high school drop out can push or ride a lawnmower- ITS UNSKILLED LABOR- and therefore nowt worth anymore than $7.00 hour.I only t takes 1.5 to 2 hours to cut grass-- worth $15.00--but now people are paying $75-100 per cut. I just don't get it.

I have a house in the Blue Creek area also and I use Mike Wallace, 256-825-1725. He is absolutely the best I have ever used. He even checks on our place after bad storms. He is very reasonable and very professional.

I agree, If I tell you what I used to mow my neighbors lawn for as a kid I'd be giving away my age big time. I paid $120.00 a cut last year and we are not talking a big yard. When my husban is up he does it in less than an hour.

For Newbie. We are from West Palm. It takes us about 10 to 11 hours to get to the lake. It is worth every minute. I absolutely Love Lake Martin.
