Took the family on an adventure yesterday. We traveled from the Little Kowalagia area to Peanut Point. Pretty cool spot. Lots of boiled peanuts being sold. I don't eat em but everyone else enjoyed them. Meandered past Wind Creek and found ourselves going in to Elkahatchee Creek. We followed it all the way back to where Hwy 63 comes over it. Most of my lake experiences involve being in big water so this was really neat to be in the creek with the forested banks descending down on each side of you. Beautiful houses too.

Welcome to the north end! Elkahatchee is a regular visit for us. As well as peanut point. It's always fun to run sandy creek and stay in the channel to wind through all the islands. The river, north of 280 bridge is fun.

River North Marina is as far north as I have been. We go there for the Lions Club poker run. It would be fun to explore the northern river area. I would need to pack a sandwich.
