Kinda one dimensional view of life there slick..........that being said, been to other places and lived elsewhere and would not trade places with any one. Just hope we can save the Republic that our original freedom fighters carved out for us.

Slick likes to keep everything KISS...Keep It Simple Stupid.....Easy for the masses to read and comprehend. The econmy has room o grow but it sure beats what we faced in July 2008.

interesting comments GF; maybe you have a suggestion as to why I can barely get home buyers qualified for a mortgage at 3.75% !! could it be: massive debt, or their employer has changed their income status from full time to part time, or they have zero in savings for a down payment ??? lord help us if mortgage rates go to 5%

People like to buy more house than they need and can afford. They live above their means and save no money. It is all about common sense. If you have a decent educatio can find a decent job with income to buy a house and some savings.
I have sold 2 properties and both buyers put down 20% and had no problem qualifying. I sold both withut a realtor and had no problem finding a qualified buyer.

I assume people looking to buy on the lake have he income to qualify. Isn't the problem the result of more stringent qualifynig due to the foreclosures? If it were my money being invested, I would want sticter qualifying than in 2007. Would you loan your money to those being turned down?

Stock market up. Unemployment down. GM alive. Bin Laden dead. And a 56% approval rating. Seems like people appreciate the job Obama has done.
To the Right, everything sucks. Must be sad to live in the dark ages 24/7.
