Is it possible to dredge a canal into the pier in the winter time so when this drought happens again it will not be as bad.

Are you on Alabama Powers "A" list?

I don't know what A list is but can I do a canal. It would give the lake more capacity.

Yes, You have my permission. Please go at it.

If you will, post some pictures of the finished product. Do not use illegal hispanic labor.

Put an add in the local paper for free top soil.

I asked AL Power the other day on behalf of a lake home buyer to be, and they told me that they would have to come out and inspect before they give approval, and that lately they have been approving dredging in the winter months only.

Are the big billboard real estate signs by Bolton Cove and Eagle Point on HWY 259 legal?

Do you know if they are paid for or just tacked up in huge size?

What is the customary proper thing in this regards from a business stand point in your business? Do you have an opinion?

Looks to me like they are on the right of way, and therefore illegal.

We have to look at them every time we turn in on CR 20 to go to our place. I would love to see them removed.
This was bound to happen, but whoever is clearing the land right there where 259 and 20 intersect cut down a lot of those trees that have had peoples signs on them for as long as I can remember. I hate to see all of the changes going on down there.

I asked my husband this weekend if he thought they were going to put a gas station there or something. I miss the trees. I almost miss our turn onto 20 if I'm not paying attention. I always use landmarks and not signs. Guess I better start paying closer attention to signs now huh?

I don't know if they are legal or not. I am no lawyer, but I agree in general about private land / rights of way.

I am too cheap to put signs that massive in a place where they might be illegal and get torn down. I only do them on land that I have the owner's permission, then well off of the right of way. Once you put up a double sign, with posts, time for installation, etc., you are looking at close to $1,000. I don't play around with that much money.

If those signs are in the right of way, and are legal, maybe I ought to get out there and put some of mine up. I have two very nice listings on Lakewood Road, at the end of Coosa 20, and I would love to be able to advertise them right there.

If they are on the right of way, and not legal, then ???
