I watched the "speech" last night. Usually I actually listen to the words but, knowing his words really mean nothing, I found myself watching his eyes and ignoring his words. I never paid much attention to this teleprompter stuff until last night and found that Obama is constantly shifting his head from left to right and is always viewing something,(the teleprompter) slightly above the camera angle. He really is READING this stuff word for word form a teleprompter. What a great leader. He has someone write his speech, as most Presidents have probably done, then just reads it. After the speech, I was wondering if he even knew what he said. I'll admit, I may be way off base here but, I don't recall any other presidents delivering speeches in this manner. Oh well, with the obvious reduced prep time, I can now see how he fits in the 61 rounds of golf, parties with Trial Lawyers, lobbyists, trips to Rio, etc. during such trying times. You go "O."

I watched part of it and it seemed to be one of his less polished speeches...uh, readings. I think he was really uncomfortable giving it.

How many times did he use "I; my administration; I ordered; etc"? You could easily come away with the idea that he alone is the creator of every initiative and is afraid to make military decisions. No credit to anyone else. He is totally above his competency and could not exist without the teleprompter. He should be in Chicago, Detroit, LA, or Philadelphia as a community organizer and at the max as President of ACORN. The legislative damages of Obama, Reid, and Pelosi will haunt this nation for years.

Well apparently some in his administration (Samantha Power for one) are now claiming Obama deserves credit for the uprising in Libya. She may come to regret that statement if whoever replaces the current regime turns out to be anti-American and destabilizing in the Middle East......then again, maybe that's what the Messiah wants.......who knows at this point...
If they get a new dictator it will give Obama someone new to bow to.....

I had it on but was doing work so I was more listening than watching. What I did notice was how many stubbles and corrections he made. I agree that he was just reading it and probably did not spend a lot of time with the speech beforehand.
He is a piece of work and it is surprising more people don't see what a weak leader he is (aside from his failed policies). I guess those that cherish the liberal and socialist dream, with a big government to manage their money and decide how to spend it, keep hoping that he will be their savior and their liberal dream will someday work. Even though it has failed everywhere else in this world.

Obama's policy on Libya is like Pelosi's on the Health care bill - We'll know what's in it when it's signed. Obama will know if Al Qaeda is part of the Libyan Rebels when Qaddafi is gone. In the meantime, we have "knowledge gaps" as to who the rebels are. Let's continue to spend the rate of $55M per day on unbudgeted money for Libya for Tomahawk missiles, etc, in a country that we are not at war with.
