Could somebody recommend a company to install a seawall? Seems like we all get gauged by contractors just because we have a lake place.

Also, does anyone have information on the best type of material to select for a wall?

I've seen work done by Jackson Metal Works and they do a nice job. I can look up the number if you need.
This would be a good time to have a seawall installed.

Jackson Metalworks Inc.
Contact Rick Milstead
Office 251-246-2492
Cell 251-769-2492
Fax 251-246-3733
They are located in Jackson, Alabama but they do work all over the state.
They have done work at Lake Martin and I'm sure Mr. Milstead will be glad to show you some of the seawalls they have constructed.
Hope this helps and good luck with your project.

I have a great person who did my seawall. If the other contact didn't work out, email me and I will give you the information. It depends on what type of wall you want. Concrete, wood, etc. Mine looks like wood but is concrete.

We used Michael Daniel of Daniel Industries. He built our seawall in River Oaks. He can be reached at 256 839 1075. We were very impressed. He also built our neighbors sea wall. It is stamped concrete, 12 inches thick ,etc. Good Luck. You will be happy with him -very nice guy too!
