of Ways. Should the huge signs of HWY 259 and 20 East for Bolton Cove and Eagle Point be removed by the County? Are they actually on the Public Right of Way, or are they paid for on private land.

Does anyone know? They are billboard size signs and not just your regular real estate size signs.

If they are on the public right of way, then I am going to complain.

You know me and my detest for garbage along the public right of ways.

Is it behind the barbed wire fence that borders most roads? That'll be the end of the right of way, and beginning of private property. If the property is owned by Russell or marketed by Russell all bets are off.

Rip it down and see what happens.

I guess I could hook a big chain to the back of my truck and pull them down, but then I am afraid they might be a major traffic accident waiting to happen to someone. I do not desire to hurt anyone or cause an accident because of my pet pieve.

If folks in Coosa County believe it is on the Pubic Right of Ways, then we have represenatives whe can email and complain.

They will come down. Most of all the private crap on public right of ways needs to come down.

It is just like the crap being let out by the Dadeville sewer in my personal opinion. (Well not that bad.)

Take your signs down to your place off the public right of ways.

We might need a special day of cleaning up around the Lake by removing all this trash to include County supervision and support.

No Town or City would permitt this kind of litter.

You are totally right, but the problem is – the politicians are the ones who abuse the posting of signs the most. You should see the right-of-ways around B’ham around election time. They just had a sign cleaning along I-65 this month and many of them were from the November elections.
