I don't come on here as often as some, but I have a question...does LTL really just love stirring the pot (no matter what pot that is) or could he really be enjoying this summer with the lake level so low and most of us part timers not there all the time this summer....I will grant him that the peace and quiet has been nice, but dang this low?!
His constant defense of APCO is truly amazing to me...I read one of his post about family members working there, but dang.

Well, all I can say is why be miserable over it. I choose to enjoy the 480 that is here and not whine and complain about the 10 that isn't. As I have stated before, all of my friends and neighbors have moved their watercraft out to other friends places that have water. It is a hassle that we are not used to, but we still enjoy the lake. Think about the hundreds of boats that come to the lake every weekend that don't have a house here. They pack their boat, go to a public ramp, launch and have a GREAT time. I suggest you try it sometime. Too many folks are just spoiled to walking to their pier and taking off, but if you love the lake and want to have a good time it is still there. And with the water this low there are enough beaches for us all to have our own.
Bottom line is that you can't change it so why not just go with the flow, or in this case the lack of a flow. But I do so enjoy the conspiracy theories. They are good for a smile when I read them.
This is the worst, but not the first drought. God willing I will live to see another in a decade or so.

Probably you are HO PRO if the truth be known.

I am scared someone is going to end up swinging from a hose on this one.
There are hose hang-outs all around the docks of LM. Some short, others long and slender. Quite an assortment of hose. Beware, as some are more sanitary than others. I would not partake of the hose around the pump-out stations, for obvious reasons.
If you ever need a refill while out on the water, the PP has hose in multiple locations. One in he shower, and two on swim platform... One has been cut off though. Not sure for what reason. Some day I will re-connect and see what gets wet...

My wife told me that she saw a "Deluxe Hose Hangout" at Wal-Mart the other day. I wonder what the deluxe model would attract? And is the extra cost worth it? I think it had wheels, and a handle on it.
|
Wheels and a handle? Now THAT sounds freaky,,,,,lmao
|
I would be cautious for two reasons. First reason is that delux model sounds as if it was built to handle larger loads, and second is that if she is assisting there must be some alterior motive...
|
I think what you are missing is a wakeboard rack. Seems to be that they collect hose very well....

Now that's a good idea. But, I don't use a wakeboard. However, I occasionally handle hose from time to time.

Yours or the customers?
LMAO
