No, but I had the same experience you did when I was down in early November. Don't know whether it was closed for the season or if it is closed for good.

I think the drought may have run Suzy out of town (but I hope not)....tough year to start a lake restaurant.

If I had to guess it wasn't the drought that ran Suzy off, it was the really bad service and not so good food. Tried it twice and had the same experience. It's ashame because our side of the lake surely could use a couple of good restaurants.

Speaking of your side of the lake, we had lunch at Green Valley Market and Café on 229 for the first time last week and I was really impressed. A nice little place and the food was good. Beautiful, very clean rest rooms also, for those of us that care.

Green Valley Market is really good. We go there for lunch and we buy their steaks to grill at home. Filets, Delicious!!! It is on 229 between 63 and Anchor Bay. Well worth a trip for lunch.

My family and I ave eaten there several times and thoroughly enjoy it. We were so excited when they added wine and imported beer as a part of their market. I agree about the steaks too,....they melt in your mouth!!! I don't know how they are faring through the winter here on the lake but I know I am going to support them so they will be here this coming summer!!!!!
