last week, 1/2 gal of milk $3.29--today same brand $5.49

can of Progressive Soup -last week $2.49; today $3.98

were a retired couple-I cant imagine a young couple with 2 children

but increasingly i'm seeing customers adding up what they put in their cart, maybe to see what the can//cannot afford

can you still sigh up for food stamps ? gift cards ? i need some ribeyes and Michelob

My cat's treats went from $12.99 to $15.99.  He's not a financial whiz, so I don't know how I'm going to break it to him that he is going to be cutting back.
