I like mine with Montreal Steak Seasoning. Just rack it up and cook away.

Tough to cook whole on a grill if you want it cooked the same throughout at the same time. Consider making it cut fillets grilled separately. Otherwise, if you can do it on an Egg, start it on indirect heat until it reaches maybe 115* internal, then move it to direct heat to crust it and finish it at whatever pink you like.

Use the plate setter. I also like the Canadian steak seasoning MM mentioned, but spice to your personal taste....rub the meat with seasoning, set the egg at about 325-350, and throw it on. Pull it off when internal temp is around 135. Baste in Butter, wrap in foil, and let sit for 10-15 minutes.... slice an enjoy.

Get you a Traeger grill.  20 minutes a pound at 325 degrees.  Season to taste, but not much.   Throw the Egg back to the Chickens.

OK I won't leave you hanging like you did me when I stirred up trouble... Eggs are not that suited for tendeloins (unless the lid is up and you are cookin with serious heat).... Better for slow stuff.... Like DD - HAHA!

Use 2 eggs.  Set one at 675, the other at 325.  Place the tenderloin on the hot one first to sear the outside and seal the juices in.  Remove and place on the egg set to 325.  Place a remote meat thermometer in the center, close the lid and watch football till the temp reads 135.  The outside pieces will be med well, the inside will be med rare.  Also, marinate for two hours prior to cooking.

Cat.....taking the name of the Big Green Egg in vain is a very callous and reckless thing to do. I have done several beef tenderloins on my Egg and all have been spectacular. You should take it back or your invitation to Eggtoberfest will be rescinded........I know PikeSki right now is preparing to shoot fireworks at your store in retaliation for the blasphemy........next thing you know you will be claiming the prophet was just some demented pedophile......which he was of course......but I digress.....
