Some mean spirited persons… organization… have taken a backhoe and randomly dug trenches in the cart paths around the old golf course on StillWaters. In front of each gash in the path... they just left an ugly spoil pile. I suppose this is to keep walkers and elderly folks from enjoying the old abandoned paths.
Maybe it’s a lawyer idea.
It would seem that such folks are just eaten up with cynicism. This is the South… Hello?

If those trenches have angled bottoms with a small hole bored on the downhill side, they are foxholes... What do you guys have going on over there - getting ready for the premier of "Red Dawn"?

I don't doubt that the property owner/group is jammed up with fear of a lawsuit if someone is hurt on the property while walking the cart path. Just seems like common sense, hospitality, compassion and grace have been smothered by greed, avarice and lack of class. All ages, all social strata.

Cartpaths are for golf carts. If anyone gets hurt while walking....the first that would happen would be to sue the owners!!!I have been on both sides of that street.
