President Biden joked Monday that he only showed up to a White House event because he heard there would be ice cream — before addressing the horrific mass shooting that left six dead at a Nashville elementary school hours earlier.

“My name is Joe Biden. I’m Dr. Jill Biden’s husband,” the 80-year-old president began his remarks at an East Room gathering of women-owned businesses.

“And I eat Jeni’s ice cream — chocolate chip. I came down because I heard there was chocolate chip ice cream,” he said.

“By the way, I have a whole refrigerator full upstairs,” Biden added at his only scheduled public appearance of the day. “You think I’m kidding? I’m not.”

The president then turned serious to address the shooting at the Covenant School, in which three students and three staff members were killed, calling it “sick” and “a family’s worst nightmare” before demanding once again that Congress pass a ban on assault weapons.

He also rambled on about someone's kids that were there - and pointing out that there were 4 kids in his family and that his sister was the smartest.  He asked them who was the oldest, etc.  And then he dropped to basiallty a raspy whisper to talk about the school shooting.  

It would have seemed to me that the school shooting warranted a seperate address and not tacked onto some other event.  He made a big plug for his 'assault weapons bill".

So we have a trans freak woman (so obviously mentally ill) that kills kids and employees at a Christian school in Nashville and the WH announces Dementia Joe would be making some remarks about the shooting and the media is there en masse.  He shows up and goes into a very bad comedy routine about ice cream, kids, his sister and then goes off on a stupid rant about guns.  This is yet another example of his ongoing mental decline.  I am quite sure they told him before he went into the room to make his prepared remarks to be somber and he simply forgot why he was there so he decided to joke around like a drooling, senile old fool that he is.  Then he gets to the teleprompter and realizes that a school shooting happened and had to make his obligatory, false and stupid comments about guns and Republicans......blaming both for the actions of a sick, demented freak.

Their real problem is that his mental decline and attendant gaffes and worse don't require any selective editing, taking something out of context or any distortion whatsoever.  We simply need to run the tape from start to finish and his senility and dementia are on full display.  No sentient human being would have done something so appalling as opening a statement on a school shooting with a lame, unfunny attempt at comedy, not to mention to perverted attention to someone's kids. 

What he said was of course standard fare for leftists that refuse to address the real problems with these heinous acts that were written by someone else and he is just a teleprompter reader...a very bad one due to his having the mental agility of a small soap dish......frankly only slightly less mental agility than when he had his full faculties.
