First time I saw it flying over the Sandy Creek area.  Unfortunately I was in the water and couldn't get a picture.

Saw two or three at the shoals at the north end of the lake.

They seemed to be picking off fish in the shallow sections.

I've been by there several times this year but have never seen one in this nest.

The large nest on Pirates Island had an osprey on it each time I went by this weekend.

That is an osprey nest. The eagles nest is a few hundred yards north.

This guy flew into a tree behind our house this past spring.  He is in the tree, sort of in the center of the picture, which isn't very clear because it was shot through a window and screen and with a cell phone camera.  If you copy and blow the picture up you can see him, though it is very grainy.  I tried to get a better shot but he took off as soon as I opened the door and came around the side of the house. Still, it was real neat to see him perched in our back yard.

What part of the lake?  Lakngulf has seen them in the Parker Creek area and we saw one flying in the general area of the golf course.  He/she went out of sight headed toward Parker Creek Marina. It is amazing how far they can go and how quickly with barely a flap ot their wings.

I had a mature Bald Eagle on my shoreline this past winter in Susannah Crossing fighting with a bunch of crows over a dead possum. He picked up the dried up carcass and flew off and dropped it in the water so the crows couldn’t have it. It was fun to watch.

On a Pace's Point spit, we saw a bald eagle land with its lunch.

Got to watch with binoculars at 80 yards.

We went out afterwards and found several white tail feathers/down.

Got a medicine jar full of feathers to prove it.
