Hello Fellow Lake Martinian’s,

I am in town with my brother. We are visiting our parents who live on Lake Martin. We wanted to go tour the dam but I couldn’t find any info on times to go. Any info would help. Thank you.

Contact alabama power and they will set up a time for a guided tour. As far as I know they don't do regular scheduled visits but by appointment only. It is a great day trip for sure. I've seen several around the state but Martin is by far the most beautiful. If you call the customer service number they should have all the info you need.

Be sure to compliment them on the beautiful red floor of the generator room. They are quite proud of it.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I’m going to try to set up a tour for today. I will be sure to compliment them. 

Update:  My family and I are on our way. Will post about the experience.

Would you mind sharing the number you called to setup the tour? I have tried a few different numbers provided by Shorelines, and have had no luck.
