Just saw my first hummingbird scout stop by to see if feeders were out.   Get ready!

We have had several for the past couple weeks.  Historically a few early birds get here between March 10-20th.  We put the feeders out starting march 1 with a small of sugar water just in case.  This year, first bird was March 6th, here for a couple days then didnt see another one until the 19th.  Been consistent since then.

Here is a migration map they keep updated every year.  Right now the leading edge is in southern Illinois, Indiana, Ohio area.
