We went hiking last weekend on the trails that begin at The Overlook. We did the 1 mile loop that took us down to a cove where you can see Chimney Rock in the distance. We were sitting on logs, enjoying the serenity, when my husband said, "do you hear what I hear?" It was a big old bulldozer clearing the land across from the trail's end. I was shocked since it seemed like we were nowhere near civilization! Does anyone know what is being built there? Another development? Another McMartin Mansion?

Might be The Village. A wonderful subdivision of 1200-1500 sq ft estates on 50-100 ft lots selling for $500K per. I believe it's in a slough in that area.
