Yes, order was issued today. While we won't get to see the 483' in January, we will see a target fill date of April 1 instead of May 1, and the big help is a reduction in downstream releases until the lake is filled.

Am I missing something? If you go to the water level rule, we will be at the 488 level by 1 April and 490 by 1 May. How will the variance and 483 come into play? It always makes me smile at this time of year when the questions appear about when the water rise. As always, it starts around the 15th of Feb. For the newbie's on the forum go to the water level site and you can track where it is supposed to be and actually is on a daily basis.

What you are missing is that the variance allows APCO to fill to 490 by April 1, not 488.

Of course, we all know they rarely let the lake get to full pool of 490.
