This has been discussed and rediscussed on here. But, I thought this was an interesting comment on the subject during his interview with Matt: "The world is better off without Saddam Hussein, Bush said, even though the invasion that toppled the Iraqi leader was based on faulty intelligence about the existence of weapons of mass destruction. "When we didn't find weapons I felt terrible about it, sick about it and still do, because a lot of the case in removing Saddam Hussein was based upon weapons of mass destruction," Bush said. He added that Hussein was "equally dangerous" without WMDs."

But o-BAMA is much more dangerous than Saddam ever was.

Why do you consider it interesting? Do you agree with or discount his comment?

Not worth discussing anymore.  Saddam was hung, so whether he was or wasn't a threat, he's no longer around.

and your point is??  other than I hate Bush, he drove the economy in the ditch and he and his brain dead followers are drinking 'slurpies while President Obama is dragging it outta the ditch??  Getting a bit tiresome to some of us..  but still seems just fine with our liberal breathren...  Appears that the 2010 midterm electorate has some difficulity with the message.. but what do I know.. being a  right leaning wing nut??

And regardless if the reason for the invasion was right or wrong ... it was the best intelligence that even Clinton and other countries had ... Saddam gassed and killed his own people ... he deserved what he got.

GF never has a point ... he posts random thoughts and does not take a position or what his point is. Oddest thing I have ever seen. No wonder his wife calls him a jellyfish.

I never cease to be amaized at how many people say that Hussein had no W M D's. He killed 10,000 kurds with Sarin (nerve gas). They even hung "Chemical Ali", the general who was in charge of that operation. We gave him months of notice that we were coming and from what I hear most of that was moved into Syria. I'll also bet that somewhere out in a desert the size of Texas there is more burried. Thost big super guns that he was building were not to hit Israel. Their air force is too good for that. They were pointed in the best direction to launch a stelite in polar orbit. They were designed by Gerald Bull who had already used a 16" gun to laungh satelites from Barbados. (look up Project Babylon). Imagine 50 or 100 satelites containing 50 lbs of anthrax in polar orbit capable of being called down on any spot on earth! Remember the anthrax attack a few years back? Well from what i hear it could have all been contained in a 35mm film can! Also 450 tons of yellow cake ore (uranium ore) was flown out of Iraq to Deago Garsega (?) where it was put on ships and sent to Canada for processing. Why this was never made public is a mystery to me.
