when we drove by Monday my Dad made the comment "I can't believe they're still open"....this one is not a big surprise if it is a closed permanently situation.

It's for sale again. However we have been told that the Old South location has been bought and will be opening around the first of the year. Not sure of name yet.

I liked Old South before they were bought out and the new owners quickly ran them out of business by lowering standards and raising prices.

Old South is on GA road (170) about 2 miles south of 63. Right past the Holly Mart on 63. I heard the lady opening it used to work at Old South.

It was on 170 in Eclectic just past the hwy 63 split. It went under a few years ago.

Old South problems before were health //septic issues; also you had to walk through the smoking section to get to the buffet
